The planning committee has cancelled NETS 2020 due to the evolving health concerns, and increasing travel restrictions related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). We considered several options to hold the event this year, but all alternate proposals carried too much risk to allow us to reschedule NETS 2020. We are sorry for these developments and any inconvenience caused by the change of plans.
The planning committee will move forward to hold NETS 2021 in Knoxville, TN in Spring 2021 (exact dates to be announced). Note that all current accepted submissions will also be accepted for the NETS 2021 conference by default. The technical committee is planning to expand the program to allow for more sessions so feel free to make more submissions when the future call for papers is distributed. Further, the planning committee is working with The American Nuclear Society’s Nuclear Technology journal to ensure the NETS 2020 special issue is published. This special issue will contain a select subset of invited papers to be expanded into full article submissions and will also include all NETS 2020 abstracts. We hope to announce those invitations in the next 2 months.
Finally, we will be compiling all conference proceedings into a single PDF file that will be made available for download at the website. Authors – if you wish to have your submission NOT INCLUDED in these proceedings, please contact your respective track chairs. Look for this file on the website in the coming weeks.
If you have already registered for NETS 2020, a refund will be issued. Refunds will come from “UT Conferences” and may take up to 30 days to process. If you do not receive a refund within 30 days, please contact Teresa Schubert, email@example.com.
